Experiment: Bendy Bones

For Christmas, our grandpa got Dr. L this really cool book...


It has all kinds of instructions in it, like how to fly a plane if something happens to the pilot, and how to escape a shark attack. This book also contains a lot of experiments. We tried out the first one we came to.

First, you get a bunch of chicken bones.

You have to examine them really good, like a scientist.


Then you put them in a container, like this one, with a lid.



Next, you cover them with vinegar.


After you let them sit covered for 7 days, you drain the vinegar, and then, the bones bend like rubber (or wubba, as Kid B would say)!!!!

Ringin' in the New Year - 3 BAAD (and our cousins) Style

This New Year's Eve, we went to a local bowling alley with our cousins, the A Team!

This is small A. He was really thirsty.

This is medium A. He beat our mom in bowling. She said she let him win, but we doubt it.

This is large A. We think he beat mom too.

When Super J bowls, his bowl goes really slowly....

We ended up at our cousins' house for the rest of the night, where we ate good food, played fun games, and had a great time!

We're looking forward to having fun in 2011!
